WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY CONSULTATION?
We recommend having your consultation 3 months before your Wedding so that your final look stays fresh in your mind.
WHERE WILL MY CONSULTATION TAKE PLACE?
Consultations can take place at your Artist's house or at a location of your choice. However the location must be within a reasonable distance from your Artist and a travel cost will be added.
HOW LONG WILL MY CONSULTATION LAST?
Consultations usually last around 2.5 to 3 hours
WHAT DOES A CONSULTATION ENTAIL?
Your Artist will trial a few different looks on you, based on the images and discussions you have had prior to the consultation.
Once you are confident that you have achieved your desired look, your Artist will chat through a rough timeline for the day and follow up later with a Wedding Day Schedule.
WHAT PREP SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY CONSULTATION?
Please let us know about any parking restrictions.
Wash your hair the day before and leave it to dry naturally or just blast it with the hairdryer (no straighteners)
Try not to wear any makeup
Send your Artist images of styles you like and images of yourself before hand
HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?
Once you are happy with the quote you have been provided by our booking team, you will be sent your booking invoice of £100 - this cost secures your booking and is taken off your final amount. This cost in non-refundable.
WHEN DO I PAY MY FINAL AMOUNT?
We will send you your final invoice 6 weeks before your Wedding - you will have 14 days to pay this
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH ARTIST I WILL HAVE?
Upon enquiry you can select a specific Artist that you are interested in or we can help select your Artist for you. We normally advise to go for an Artist that is based within and 80mile radius of your venue however you are able to pay for accommodation for Artists that are further afield.
WHAT BRANDS DO L&L ARTISTS USE?
All of our Artists use their own kits so will have a slightly different selection. Brands most likely used are Bobbi Brown, NARS, Laura Mercier, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury ... Please see Artist portfolios for their preferred brands. If you have a specific product you would like to use, our Artists are more than happy to use it.
HOW MUCH IS A SECOND ARTIST?
A second Artist costs can vary from £60 - £150 depending on how long the Artist is needed, how far they travel and the popularity of the date. This cost covers their travel, time and use of equipment.
WHAT PREP SHOULD I DO BEFORE THE BIG DAY?
Send any pics across to your Artist of styles for you bridesmaids, mums, guests ....
Wash your hair the day before (unless told otherwise)
Organise how/when you will be having brekkie so there is always someone having hair/makeup done.
